Hey so I always see you posting about final fantasy and was wondering if I we're to start playing what game should I start with. I have a PS4
Holy crap I just logged in here to check some info on an old message and I see I’ve gotten a ton of random messages. I haven’t used Tumblr for awhile lol. If you see this tell me about some of your gaming preferences and I will try to give decent recs. Now one of my favorite games ever is the new Final Fantasy VII (7) Remake. The end falls spectacularly flat however, and will simply be confusing for anyone who hasn’t played the original. (A very strange choice.) However, it is just the first part in a planned trilogy. It also has story DLC coming soon. It is a linear game with moments of mild limited open world sidequesting but it isn’t like most modern games in that it is singularly focused on telling it’s story rather than creating a sandbox for players to run around in. The sequels are planned to be much more open world. The combat system is one of a kind but an update is planned to add a more turn-based option for people who like slower gameplay. I could say more but I have to go lol. Thankfully the PS4 has lots of the other games available all with their own merits. Final Fantasy titles are known for their worldbuilding and characters as well as their beautiful aesthetics, which I think is one reason they are some of the most popular JRPGs. There is probably one of them you will like at least some!
